John T. Ford was an American theatrical producer and manager who was born on May 21, 1829, in Baltimore, Maryland, and died on March 14, 1894. He is best known for owning and operating the Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C., where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on April 14, 1865.
